I recently purchased a 2021 Audi A3 and was wondering what the process is for resetting the MMI system in case it freezes or has issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyTo reset your MMI system, you can hold down the control knob for 20 seconds until the system reboots. If this does not work, you can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes before reconnecting it. This should reset the system.
I had a similar issue with my Audi A3 and found out that there is a reset button located on the side of the infotainment system. You can press and hold that button for about 10 seconds to reset the MMI system.
If you are still having trouble resetting your MMI system, you can bring it to your nearest Audi dealership and they can assist you with the process. They may also be able to provide some useful tips for preventing future issues with the system.
