How do I reset the airbag light in an Audi A3?

I recently got into an accident and the airbag light in my Audi A3 came on. I fixed the issue that caused the light to come on, but it's still on. How can I reset it?

You will need an OBD-II scanner to reset the airbag light in your Audi A3. Most auto parts stores have them available for rent or purchase.

First, make sure you fix the issue that caused the light to come on. Then, disconnect the car's battery for about 10 minutes and then reconnect it. This should reset the airbag light.

If you don't have access to an OBD-II scanner, you can try disconnecting the battery and then turning on the headlights for 30 seconds to discharge any remaining energy in the car. Then reconnect the battery and start the car to see if the light has been reset.
