How do I reset the long term memory on my Audi MMI system?

I just purchased a used Audi and noticed that the long term memory on the MMI system still has the previous owner's settings. How can I reset it to factory defaults?

To reset the long term memory on your Audi MMI system, start by going to the settings menu and selecting the 'Car' option. From there, navigate to the 'System' tab and locate the 'Reset MMI' option. Select this option and confirm the reset when prompted.

Another way to reset the long term memory on your Audi MMI system is to remove the negative terminal from your car battery for a few minutes. This will reset all settings to factory defaults, including the MMI system.

If you are not comfortable resetting the MMI system yourself, you can always take your Audi to a certified dealership or mechanic. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to reset the long term memory for you.
