How do I reset the MMI in an Audi A2?

I recently bought a used Audi A2 and noticed that the Multi Media Interface (MMI) is not functioning properly. It is frozen on the previous owner's settings and I can't seem to reset it. Any advice on how to fix this issue?

To reset the MMI in an Audi A2, you will need to first turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition. Then, press and hold the 'Setup' and 'Return' button at the same time for about 10 seconds. Once the MMI screen turns on, release the buttons and press the 'Setup' button again to confirm. This should reset the MMI to factory settings. Hope this helps!

If the above method doesn't work, you can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This has been known to reset the MMI in some cases. Just make sure you have your car radio code handy as you will need to enter it again.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and found out that there was a software update for the MMI that fixed the problem. You can go to your Audi dealership and ask them to check if your car's MMI software is up to date.
