How do I reset the MMI infotainment system in my Audi vehicle?

I recently experienced some issues with my MMI system not responding and need to reset it. What steps do I need to take to reset the system and get it working properly again?

To reset the MMI system in an Audi, first press and hold down the function keys with the control knob and the upper right button for approximately 5 seconds. Next, press and hold down the 'Menu' button for another 5 seconds until you see the MMI menu reset.

Another option to reset the MMI system is to turn off the ignition and then press and hold the 'Setup' button while turning the ignition back on. Continue to hold the 'Setup' button for at least 10 seconds until the MMI system restarts.
