How do I reset the MMI (Multi Media Interface)?

My Audi's MMI (Multi Media Interface) is constantly freezing and I'm having trouble accessing various features. I've tried restarting the car to fix the issue, but it hasn't worked. How can I reset the MMI and hopefully resolve this problem?

To reset the MMI in your Audi, first turn off the car and remove the key from the ignition. Then, hold down the MMI control knob, press and hold the CAR and SETUP buttons at the same time. Continue holding the control knob and buttons for about 10 seconds, until the MMI restarts and shows the Audi logo. This should fix any freezing or accessibility issues you were experiencing.
