Sometimes the MMI in my Audi Q5 freezes or stops responding. How can I reset it to get it working again?
ReplyIf your MMI is constantly freezing or malfunctioning, it may be due to a software issue. Make sure you have the latest software update for your Audi Q5 installed. You can check for updates on the Audi website or through the MMI system itself.
To reset the MMI, press and hold the CAR and MENU buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. This will restart the system and should resolve any issues you are experiencing. If the problem persists, you may need to bring your car to an Audi dealership for further diagnosis.
Another way to reset the MMI is by removing the fuse for the system. Consult your owner's manual to locate the fuse and follow the instructions on how to remove it. Leave it out for a few minutes, then replace it and start your car. The MMI should now be functioning properly.
