How do I reset the MMI (Multi Media Interface) on an Audi A6?

I encountered a frozen screen on my MMI while trying to switch audio sources on my Audi A6. I have since restarted the car multiple times but the issue persists. Is there a way to reset the MMI system without disconnecting the battery?

To reset the MMI on your Audi A6, press and hold the MENU and CAR buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This will force a reboot of the system and may solve the frozen screen issue.
