I recently had an issue with my Audi A4's MMI system freezing and becoming unresponsive. I heard that resetting the software can fix this issue, but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone provide step-by-step instructions?
ReplyTo reset the MMI software on your Audi A4, first turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, hold down the MENU button on the MMI control panel for about 6-8 seconds. This will prompt a menu to appear on the screen. From there, select 'Setup MMI' and then 'System Reset'. This will reset the software and should fix any issues you were experiencing.
You can also reset the MMI software by holding down the MENU button and the left control button at the same time for about 10 seconds. This will bring up a new menu where you can select 'Restart MMI'.
