To reset the MMI system in your Audi A1 after a software update, simply press and hold the three center buttons (menu, car, and back) simultaneously for 10 seconds. This will reboot the system and should fix any glitchy or unresponsive behavior.

If the MMI system is still not functioning properly after a reboot, try disconnecting the vehicle's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes resolve any lingering issues caused by a software update. Just be sure to have your radio code handy if needed!

Another option to reset the MMI system is to remove the fuse for the system from the fuse box located in the glove compartment. Leave it out for a minute and then reinsert it. This should reset the system and address any problems caused by the software update.
