How do I switch on the high beam headlights on my Audi A6?

I am unable to figure out how to switch on the high beam headlights on my Audi A6. Could someone please guide me through the process?

To switch on the high beam headlights on an Audi A6, locate the headlight control switch on the left side of the dashboard. Push the control switch away from you to activate the high beam headlights.
