How Do I Troubleshoot an Engine Oil Leak in My Audi A2?

I've noticed oil spots under my parked Audi A2 and I suspect it has an oil leak. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Firstly, make sure that the oil spots are indeed coming from your car and not from another vehicle. Once that is confirmed, check the oil levels in your engine and see if they are low. If they are, you may have a leak in the oil pan or in one of the oil seals. This can be fixed by replacing the damaged parts and ensuring they are properly sealed.

Another common cause of oil leaks in Audi A2s is a faulty valve cover gasket. This can result in oil seeping out and dripping onto the ground. To fix this, you will need to replace the valve cover gasket with a new one. Make sure to clean the surface first before installing the new gasket.
