How do I turn off the Audi A8's automatic braking system?

I find that the automatic braking system on my Audi A8 is overly sensitive and tends to engage even when I don't need it to. How can I turn it off so I have more control over my braking?

To disable the automatic braking system on your Audi A8, go to the vehicle settings and locate the 'Driver Assistance Systems' option. From there, select 'Active Brake Control' and disable it.
