I've been hearing a lot about the battery regeneration feature on electric cars. But how does it actually work in the Audi e-Tron?
ReplyThe battery regeneration system in the Audi e-Tron uses braking energy to charge the battery. When you apply the brakes or lift your foot from the accelerator, the electric motor turns into a generator and converts kinetic energy into electricity.
Not only does the battery regeneration system help charge the battery, it also helps reduce the wear and tear on the brake pads. As someone who has had to replace brake pads on their previous car, this is a great feature!
One thing to keep in mind is that the battery regeneration system is not as effective at low speeds, so it's best to use it more on highways and downhill roads. Happy driving!
