How often should I change my Audi A6's tires?

I've had my Audi A6 for a few years now and I've never changed the tires. How often should I be changing them and how do I know when it's time to do so?

It is generally recommended to change your tires every 6 years, regardless of mileage. However, if you notice any signs of wear and tear, such as visible damage or low tread depth, it's important to replace them sooner.

To determine if it's time to change your tires, you can do a simple tread depth test using a penny. Insert the penny into the tread groove, with Lincoln's head facing down. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head, it's time to replace your tires.

Additionally, it's important to regularly check your tires for signs of wear and tear, such as cracks, bulges, or uneven wear. If you notice any of these, it's best to have your tires checked by a professional.
