I have a 2014 Audi A6 and I want to do a tune-up on my own. I have changed spark plugs before on my previous car, but I'm not sure where to start with my A6. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyThe first thing you need to do is locate the spark plugs on your A6. They are located on top of the engine, underneath the plastic engine cover. You will need to remove the cover using a T30 Torx wrench.
Once the cover is off, you will need a special tool called a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plugs. The sockets are usually sold in sets and can be found at most auto parts stores.
