I have a 2012 Audi A4 and I noticed that my battery doesn't seem to hold a charge as well as it used to. Is there a way to check the status of my battery using VAG-COM to see if it needs to be replaced?
ReplyYes, you can use VAG-COM to check the status of your Audi's battery. Navigate to the '09-Cent. Elect.' module and select 'Advanced ID - 1A' to view the battery info. You should be able to see the state of charge, voltage, and temperature. If your battery is showing low voltage or charge, it may be time for a replacement.
I had the same issue with my Audi A3, and it turned out to be a faulty battery. Using VAG-COM, I was able to check the status and see that it was not holding a charge properly. I replaced it and haven't had any problems since.
