How to disable auto-dimming mirrors in an Audi A4?

I find the auto-dimming feature on my Audi A4's exterior mirrors to be quite distracting. Is there a way to permanently disable it, either through a setting or a physical modification?

To disable the auto-dimming feature on your mirrors, simply go into your vehicle's settings and look for the 'Mirror' option. From there, you should be able to turn off the auto-dimming function.

There is actually a switch on the side of the rear-view mirror that controls the auto-dimming feature. Just flip it to the off position and your mirrors won't dim anymore.
