How to Enable Android Auto on an Audi A6?

I've just gotten an Audi A6 and would like to use Android Auto. How can I enable this feature?

To enable Android Auto on your Audi A6, you will need to connect your phone to the car through a USB cable. Once connected, select the Android Auto option on the MMI display.

Ensure that your phone is running on Android 5.0 or higher and that you have the Android Auto app downloaded. Connect your phone to the car using a USB cable and select the Android Auto option on the MMI display to enable it.
