I'm having trouble figuring out how to activate the automatic rain sensing wipers in my Audi A3. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity, but they still won't turn on. Can anyone help?
ReplyTo activate the automatic wipers in your Audi A3, make sure the wiper control lever is in the 'AUTO' position. Then, use the sensitivity dial located on the wiper stalk to adjust the level of rain sensing. Keep in mind that the wipers may not activate immediately if the rain is light or intermittent.
First, check if the automatic wipers are turned on in the MMI - go to 'Car' menu, then 'Audi drive select', and make sure the box next to 'Automatic wipers' is checked. If it is and they still won't turn on, try cleaning the rain sensor located behind the rearview mirror with a soft, damp cloth.
