Hi Emma, a squeaky brake in your Audi 80 could be caused by a number of things. The first thing you should check is the brake pads. If they are worn out, they can start to make noise. Another potential cause could be the brake rotors. These can become warped or damaged over time, causing them to squeak. It's also possible that there's dirt or debris caught in the brake pads, causing them to make noise. I suggest taking your Audi to a trusted mechanic who can properly diagnose and fix the issue for you.

Hi Emma, I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a loose caliper. The caliper is the part of the brake system that squeezes the brake pads against the rotors. If it's loose, it can make noise. So you could try tightening the caliper bolts to see if that helps. However, if you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I recommend taking your car to a mechanic who can properly fix it for you.

Hi Emma, it's possible that your brake pads are glazed over, causing them to squeak. This is often caused by heavy braking or using low-quality brake pads. The solution is to replace the brake pads with high-quality ones and properly break them in. I suggest doing this sooner rather than later to avoid any potential damage to your brake system.
