How to fix a stalled engine on an Audi 80?

My Audi 80 engine has been stalling frequently and I'm not sure how to fix it. I've heard it could be due to a faulty fuel pump, but I'm not sure how to diagnose the exact issue. Can anyone provide some guidance?

It is possible that your stalling issue is caused by a faulty fuel pump. However, it would be a good idea to check the idle air control valve as well, as it may be clogged or malfunctioning. Also, make sure to check the ignition system and fuel injectors for any issues. Good luck!

In my experience, a common cause of stalling in an Audi 80 is a dirty or clogged air filter. Make sure to replace or clean your air filter regularly to avoid this issue. Additionally, check the spark plugs and ignition system as they can also contribute to stalling.
