How to fix faulty brake lights on an Audi 80?

I have noticed that my brake lights on my Audi 80 are not working properly. They seem to work intermittently, sometimes not turning on at all. I have checked the bulbs and they seem to be fine. Any suggestions on what could be causing this issue?

The most common cause of faulty brake lights on an Audi 80 is a faulty brake light switch. This switch is located under the brake pedal and can become worn or damaged over time. It is a relatively easy fix and can be done on your own.
