I recently noticed that the headlight on my Audi 80 has stopped working. I'm not sure what the issue could be and I don't want to take it to a mechanic. Can anyone offer some advice on how I can fix this issue myself?
ReplyHi Michael, it's important to first check the fuse for the headlight. If it's blown, replace it with a new one. If the fuse is not the issue, then it could be a problem with the wiring or the headlight bulb itself. Make sure to check the wiring for any loose connections and if all looks good, try replacing the headlight bulb. This should solve the issue in most cases. Good luck!
Hi Michael, I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty headlight switch. You can try replacing the switch yourself, but if you're not comfortable doing so, I would recommend taking it to a mechanic. It's a relatively simple fix and shouldn't cost too much. Hope this helps!
