I recently noticed that one of my headlights on my Audi A6 is out. How can I replace it myself without having to go to a mechanic?
ReplyReplacing the headlights on an Audi A6 is actually quite simple. First, make sure you have the correct replacement bulb. Then, just follow these steps: 1. Open the hood and locate the back of the headlight. 2. Push down on the plastic tab to release the headlight. 3. Remove the old bulb and insert the new one. 4. Push the plastic tab back into place. That's it!
I've had to replace my Audi A6 headlights a few times and I've found that it's easiest to do with a friend. They can hold the flashlight for you while you work. Trust me, it makes a difference.
Make sure you replace both headlights at the same time, even if only one is out. This will ensure they have the same level of brightness and you won't have to replace the other one soon after.
