How to reset the ECU in an Audi 80?

I recently installed a new performance exhaust on my Audi 80, but now the engine is running rough. I've been told to reset the ECU, but I'm not sure how to do it. Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions?

To reset the ECU in an Audi 80, simply disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 10-15 minutes. This will allow the ECU to reset and adapt to any new modifications.

You can also reset the ECU by using a scan tool or OBDII reader. This will allow you to clear any error codes and reset the ECU back to its factory settings.

Before resetting the ECU, make sure to write down any custom tune or modifications that you have made. You will need to re-enter this information after the reset.
