How to reset the MMI system on Audi A1?

After a software update, the media and navigation system on my Audi A1 stopped working. How can I reset the MMI system to get it back to its default settings?

To reset the MMI system on your Audi A1, first turn off the ignition and wait 10 seconds. Then, press and hold the MENU button and CAR button simultaneously until the words MMI RESET appear on the screen. Release the buttons and the system will reset.

If the above method does not work, you can also try disconnecting your car's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes reset the MMI system as well.

Sometimes, a simple software update can fix issues with the MMI system. Check for updates on the Audi website and see if that resolves the problem.
