I recently bought an Audi A2 2002 and the service indicator light has been on for a while. I want to reset it myself instead of taking it to a mechanic. Can someone guide me on how to do it?
ReplyTo reset the service indicator light on your Audi A2 2002, turn the ignition key to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Press and hold the trip reset button on the dashboard until 'Service' appears. Release the reset button and then press and hold it again until 'Reset' appears. Release the reset button and start the engine to see if the indicator light has been reset.
You can also try disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes to reset the service indicator light. Just make sure you have your radio code handy as it will need to be reprogrammed.
