How to reset the service indicator light on Audi A2 2002?

I recently bought an Audi A2 2002 and the service indicator light has been on for a while. I want to reset it myself instead of taking it to a mechanic. Can someone guide me on how to do it?

To reset the service indicator light on your Audi A2 2002, turn the ignition key to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Press and hold the trip reset button on the dashboard until 'Service' appears. Release the reset button and then press and hold it again until 'Reset' appears.
