How to troubleshoot Audi MMI freezing issues?

I recently have been experiencing issues with my Audi MMI system freezing while I'm driving. It typically happens when I am using the navigation system. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to troubleshoot and fix this issue?

First, try resetting the MMI system by pressing and holding the power and volume buttons for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try updating the system software. If the issue persists, it could be a hardware problem and you should take it to a certified Audi technician.

I had a similar issue and found that clearing the cache in the MMI system helped resolve the freezing issue. You can do this by going to the settings menu, then system, and selecting clear cache.
