How to troubleshoot cruise control on an Audi A4?

I have an Audi A4 and my cruise control stopped working. I've checked the fuses and they seem to be fine. What should I do next?

Start by checking all the individual components involved in the cruise control system. This can include the control module, sensors, and switches. Make sure all connections are secure and free of corrosion or damage.

Another common cause of cruise control malfunction is a faulty brake light switch. This switch is responsible for turning off the cruise control when the brakes are applied. Check to see if your brake lights are working and if not, replace the switch.

If the issue is not with the components, then it could be a problem with the software. Try resetting the cruise control by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If the issue persists, you may need to take your Audi to a dealership for further diagnosis.
