How to troubleshoot the MMI control panel issue in Audi A4?

I recently noticed that the MMI control panel in my Audi A4 is not responding to touch commands. The screen still displays information and the buttons on the panel still light up, but I am unable to control anything. Can you provide any insight on how to troubleshoot this issue?

First, try restarting the MMI system by pressing and holding down the control panel power button for about 20 seconds. If that doesn't work, check to see if there are any software updates available for your vehicle's MMI system. Sometimes, updates can fix glitches and issues with the control panel.
