How to troubleshoot the MMI touch response issue in Audi A6?

I have noticed that the MMI touch in my Audi A6 is not responding properly to my commands. It sometimes takes multiple attempts for it to register my touch. Has anyone else experienced this issue and how did you resolve it?

Make sure that your hands are clean and dry before using the MMI touch. Oil or moisture on your hands can interfere with the touch sensitivity.
