I recently purchased a used Audi A8 and I've noticed a faint ticking noise coming from the engine. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It's actually quite common for Audi A8 engines to make a ticking noise, especially at idle. This is usually caused by the injectors and is nothing to worry about.
