I find the seat belt chime in my Audi A4 extremely annoying and would like to turn it off. Is there a setting or hack to disable it?
ReplyUnfortunately, there is no officially supported way to disable the seat belt chime in an Audi A4. However, there are some aftermarket options available that allow you to silence the chime or disable it completely.
You can try using a VCDS software to access the car's computer and disable the seat belt chime. But be cautious as this may void the warranty and potentially cause other issues with the car. Only attempt this if you are comfortable with coding and have a thorough understanding of the software.
One workaround is to simply buckle the seat belt before starting the car. This will prevent the chime from sounding. However, it is still important to wear your seat belt while driving for safety reasons.
