What causes low fuel pressure in Audi A4?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4 is having trouble accelerating and sometimes stalls when idling. After doing some research, I think it may be due to low fuel pressure. Can anyone confirm if this is a common issue with Audis and what could be causing it?

One possible cause of low fuel pressure in an Audi A4 is a faulty fuel pump. This can be easily diagnosed by checking for a strong electrical signal to the pump and also monitoring fuel pressure using a pressure gauge. If the fuel pump is indeed the issue, it should be replaced immediately to avoid further damage to the engine.

Another common cause of low fuel pressure in an Audi A4 is a clogged fuel filter. This is especially common if the filter has not been changed regularly. If the filter is clogged, it should be replaced as soon as possible to prevent damage to the fuel pump and injectors. You may also want to have the injectors cleaned while you're at it.

A less common but possible cause of low fuel pressure in an Audi A4 is a failing fuel pressure regulator. This component is responsible for maintaining a constant fuel pressure in the system. If it fails, it can cause low fuel pressure and ultimately lead to engine performance issues. A faulty regulator should be replaced immediately.
