The most common cause of a coolant leak in Audi 80s is a faulty water pump. This can be easily fixed by replacing the water pump and checking for any other damaged components in the cooling system. If the issue persists, it could also be a sign of a larger issue such as a head gasket leak.

I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a cracked radiator. I would recommend checking for any visible cracks or damage on the radiator and replacing it if necessary.

In some cases, a coolant leak can be caused by a faulty radiator cap. Make sure to check if the cap is properly sealed and replace it if needed. Also, check the coolant levels and make sure they are topped up to prevent any further leaks.
