What is adaptive cruise control in the Audi A8?

I'm interested in buying an Audi A8 and I've heard it has adaptive cruise control. Can anyone tell me what this feature is and how it works?

Adaptive cruise control is a feature that allows your car to automatically adjust its speed to maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you. It uses radar or laser sensors to monitor the distance and speed of the vehicle ahead and will slow down or speed up your car accordingly.

I have the Audi A8 with adaptive cruise control and I absolutely love it. It has made long drives much more enjoyable and stress-free. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking at buying one.

As someone who has driven cars without adaptive cruise control, I can tell you it makes a huge difference in highway traffic. It takes a lot of the work and stress out of constantly adjusting your speed and maintaining a safe distance from other cars.
