What is Audi A3's fuel efficiency like?

I'm looking into buying an Audi A3 and I'm wondering about its fuel economy. Can someone provide some insight?

According to Audi's website, the A3 has an EPA estimated fuel economy of 33 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city. That's not too bad for a luxury sedan.

I've been driving the A3 for a few years now and I can say that the fuel efficiency is quite good. I get about 30 mpg on average.
