What is Audi A6 RTS and how does it improve the driving experience?

I've heard the term RTS in relation to the Audi A6, but I'm not quite sure what it means or what benefits it brings. Can someone explain?

RTS stands for Rear Traffic System and refers to a set of sensors and cameras located at the back of the Audi A6. When activated, it monitors the space behind the vehicle and alerts the driver of approaching vehicles or other objects, making backing up or maneuvering in crowded areas much safer.
