What is the best engine oil type for an Audi A4?

I recently purchased an Audi A4 and I'm wondering which type of engine oil is recommended for it. I've researched online but I'm still confused. Can someone give me a clear answer?

According to Audi, the best engine oil type for an A4 is a fully synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30, which meets the VW 502.00 and 505.00 standards.

I've been using Castrol Edge 5W-30 for years in my Audi A4 and have had great results. Highly recommend it.
