What is the cause of the high engine temperature in Audi 80?

I've noticed that my Audi 80's engine temperature is running high, but I'm not sure what could be causing it. Can someone please help me diagnose the issue?

The high engine temperature in your Audi 80 could be due to a malfunctioning radiator fan. Check to see if the fan is turning on when the engine gets warm.
