What is the difference between Audi A8's Quattro and Quattro Ultra all-wheel drive systems?

I'm trying to decide which A8 model to purchase, and I can't seem to find any clear information on the differences between the Quattro and Quattro Ultra all-wheel drive systems. Can someone explain the technical details and which one would be better for my needs?

The main difference between the two all-wheel drive systems is the power distribution. Quattro Ultra is a lighter and more efficient system, using sensors and data to determine when all-wheel drive is needed, while Quattro is always engaged and uses a center differential to distribute power equally. If you live in an area with frequent changing road conditions, Quattro Ultra would be a better choice.

In terms of performance, both all-wheel drive systems provide excellent grip and stability. However, Quattro Ultra has shown to be more fuel efficient due to its on-demand activation, making it a good option for those concerned about fuel economy.
