What is the difference between Audi's Quattro and BMW's xDrive AWD systems?

I know that both Audi and BMW have popular AWD systems, but I'm not sure how they compare. Can someone explain the main differences between Audi's Quattro and BMW's xDrive?

Audi's Quattro system has been around since the early 1980s and is considered one of the first and most advanced AWD systems on the market. It uses a mechanical center differential to distribute power between the front and rear wheels, providing excellent traction in all conditions.

On the other hand, BMW's xDrive system uses a combination of electronic sensors and hydraulic clutch packs to distribute power between the front and rear wheels. While not as advanced as Quattro, it still offers good performance and handling in most situations.

In terms of driving experience, Audi's Quattro system tends to provide more stable and predictable handling, while BMW's xDrive offers a more sporty and dynamic feel. It ultimately comes down to personal preference and the specific models you're comparing.
