What is the difference between Audi Virtual Cockpit and Audi MMI?

I recently purchased an Audi and I'm wondering what the difference is between the Virtual Cockpit and the MMI system. Can anyone provide insight?

The Audi Virtual Cockpit is a fully digital instrument cluster that provides comprehensive information and entertainment features alongside traditional speed and RPM dials. The MMI, on the other hand, is the central control system for all Audi vehicle functions including navigation, media, and vehicle settings.

While both offer similar features, the main difference between Audi Virtual Cockpit and MMI is the mode of interaction. The virtual cockpit uses touch control and voice commands, while the MMI utilizes a central control dial and buttons.

If you are someone who prefers a more visual and intuitive interface, the Audi Virtual Cockpit is the way to go. However, if you prefer tactile buttons and the control dial for easier navigation while driving, then MMI would be better suited for you.
