What is the difference between Quattro and All-Wheel Drive in Audi A8?

I am considering buying an Audi A8 and I'm confused about the difference between Quattro and All-Wheel Drive. Can someone please explain the technical details and which one would be more suitable for my driving needs?

Quattro is Audi's trademarked all-wheel drive system while All-Wheel Drive is a generic term for any car with power to all four wheels. Quattro is generally more advanced and offers better control and traction in various driving conditions. However, it also comes at a higher cost.

Quattro uses a center differential that allows the torque to be distributed between the front and rear axles with a 40:60 split, giving it a more traditional rear-wheel drive feel. All-Wheel Drive, on the other hand, does not have a center differential and distributes power evenly between all four wheels, which can result in understeer.
