I've noticed the start-stop-system in my Audi A1 and I'm wondering what its purpose is. Can it the switched off?
ReplyThe start-stop-system in the Audi A1 is designed to automatically switch off the engine when the car is stationary, reducing fuel consumption and emissions. It can be deactivated by pressing a button on the dashboard.
The start-stop-system is a useful feature in city driving, where the car can frequently come to a stop at traffic lights or in traffic. However, it may not be as noticeable in longer journeys on the highway. If you want to disable it for any reason, simply press the button labeled with an 'A' and a circle around it, located near the gear shift lever.
The start-stop-system can also be deactivated by selecting 'ECON' mode on the Audi A1. This mode optimizes fuel consumption and deactivates the start-stop function.
