ReplyAccording to Audi's website, the hybrid battery warranty for the A3 is 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It covers defects in materials and workmanship.
I've had my Audi A3 for 5 years now and haven't had any issues with the hybrid battery. I would recommend getting the extended warranty for added peace of mind.
