What is the reason for my Audi 80's engine overheating?

I have noticed that my Audi 80's engine has been overheating lately. I'm not sure what the cause could be but I'm worried it may cause serious damage to my car. Can anyone provide some insight into why this may be happening?

It is possible that your Audi 80's cooling system is not functioning properly. This could be due to a faulty thermostat, a clogged radiator, or low coolant levels. I recommend having a mechanic inspect and repair your cooling system to prevent any further damage to your engine.

Another possible cause of engine overheating could be a malfunctioning water pump. This is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine and if it is not working properly, your engine can overheat. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have the water pump checked and replaced if necessary.
