What type of coolant should be used in an Audi 80?

I recently purchased an Audi 80 and I am unsure what type of coolant I should use. Can anyone provide recommendations or specifications for the best coolant option?

The recommended coolant for an Audi 80 is G12++ according to Audi specifications. However, many Audi owners have found that a 50/50 mix of distilled water and G13 coolant also works well.
