Why are my Audi A4's brake pads wearing out so quickly?

I have noticed that my Audi A4's brake pads seem to wear out much faster than other cars I've owned. Is there a specific reason for this? Is there anything I can do to prolong their lifespan?

The Audi A4 is a high-performance vehicle and therefore has larger, more powerful brakes that require more force to stop the car. This naturally results in faster wear and tear on the brake pads. One way to prolong their lifespan is to avoid aggressive driving and heavy braking whenever possible, as this will put less stress on the brake pads.

Another reason for quick brake pad wear in the Audi A4 could be due to the weight of the vehicle. With its luxurious features and technology, the A4 is generally heavier than other cars, making it more demanding on the brakes. To help extend their lifespan, make sure to regularly check the brake fluid and replace it as needed. This will help ensure that the brakes are functioning at their best.

In addition to its weight and high-performance capabilities, the Audi A4 also has larger wheels compared to other vehicles. This means that the brake pads have to work harder to slow down the rotation of the wheels, causing them to wear out faster. To help reduce wear and tear, make sure to properly align and balance the wheels and rotate them regularly.
